Story

An evening to remember!

‘Kalayan’, the much loved hindi theatrical group is playing to the aisles again with an absolute rib-tickler -“Badi Buaji”. Translated into Hindi by Pratibha Agarwal from the original Bengali script by Badal Sarkar, the play is directed by Mathura Kalauny.

The three act play depicts the ups an downs faced by an amateur theatre group. Playing spoilsport to their aspirations of staging the play is Badi Buaji, the aunt of the heroine of the play.

Finally, when the show is all set, Badi Buaji clandestinely pops in to throw a damp towel on their first venture, much to the agony of the artists.

Undaunted by the volte-face and inspired by Shambu’s quick thinking, the artists make a delightful last ditch attempt to outwit Badi Buaji.

Will the artists stage the play at all? or will Badi Buaji succeed in her attempts?

The stage is all set for a fun filled evening.
