What does a marriage do to two perfectly normal human beings that they turn into bitterly fighting individuals? Swayamvar 2010 tries to address this issue in this thought provoking play interspersed with humorous situations.
Chitra despises her husband Shekhar who does not measure up to her expectations. She gets infatuated with her office colleague who is a mirror image of her maidenhood dreams.
Shekhar’s boyhood friend Sandeep is contemplating marriage with Sonam, a crooner in a restaurant. Their romance has a rough passage under the shadow of broken home of Shekhar and Chitra.
